We are students, sisters, friends and leaders who enjoy spending time together.  Lasting memories are created every day at philanthropy events, socials, chapter meetings, formals, date parties, parents weekends, athletic events, and sisterhoods.   We are each others foundation as we make our way through the journey of college together.  Our Sisters are our best friends, our future bridesmaids, our role models and our inspiration!

We hope you will enjoy learning a little more about us as you browse the pages of this site.

"Chi O's were ideal partners for all occasions.  They were discrete,   desirable, tactful, polite and fun.  Every mom dreamed of her son     coming home with a Chi Omega."
It all began on April 5, 1895, at the University of Arkansas when four young women, with the help of a local dentist, established the secrets, symbolism and teaching that today bind over 300,000 women.  To value the talents of women…to encourage them to realize their greatest potential.  These are the principles upon which Chi Omega was founded.  Now over a century later, these founding principles are just as relevant.

The Epsilon Zeta Chapter of Chi Omega was established on the campus of Stephen F. Austin State University in 1963.  Prior to being Chi Omegas, the members were a social organization known as the Pine Burrs.  The Pine Burr members were eager to gain a charter with a national women's fraternity.  They had many opportunities to gain a charter with various national organizations, but waited on Chi Omega.  The women knew that the values and beliefs of Chi Omega were what they wanted for themselves and those who would follow.  They knew that Chi Omega would hold up as a great women's institution for years to come not only at SFA, but nationwide.
The Chi Omega Symphony articulates the true ideals of a Chi Omega Sister.  Every Chi Omega carries the Symphony in her heart, and  most have a  favorite line upon which they choose to reflect.
The Carnation, like Chi Omega is unique. The center is never exposed, but is covered and protected by it's tightly woven petals.  As the carnation ages, the petals draw closer together.  Not one petal is ever lost.
Throughout Chi Omega's long and proud history, six great purposes have been stressed, principles that guide the direction of every chapter and bring to its members an unequaled opportunity for personal growth and development.  We are proud to embrace these values within our daily lives.
The central principle, upon which all others are built.
The element that helps ensure the continuing success of the Fraternity
The ultimate reason for attending college.
The element which ensures that Chi Omegas are active participants in the campus community.
The preparation for life after college.
The philanthropic activities that contribute to your community's welfare.
~You don't just become a Chi Omega...You always were one.
